Cambridge Camping has entered a strong new chapter, focused on helping more children access camp through scholarships, first-time overnight camp experiences, and school-year family engagement.
This work has never been more urgent. The families we serve are facing rising costs, housing and food insecurity, job loss, immigration-related fears, and enormous daily stress. Camp cannot erase these realities, but it can offer something lasting: stability, discovery, joy, and the chance to feel hopeful, capable, and cared for.
And it is working. In 2025, CCA made 278 camp placements, supported more than 1,030 camper-weeks, partnered with 108 camps, and achieved a 98% successful placement rate. This year, we are already well ahead of pace, with nearly 200 placements secured.
